during dinner, i bought bubble tea and was super polite to the lady, hoping she would give me more pearls. of course, that didn't happen. then i paid for my drink and she told me it costed $1.80 when i handed her $1.50. i told her it wrote $1.50 on the board and she was like "no, yours is red tea blend, $1.80!" in chinese. then i pointed at the board and told her it showed "specialty blends" and under it,"tea series - $1.50. ice tea, green tea, red tea".
she didnt even bother looking up at the board.

so she looked at me. i told her i did not have 30cents.
she continued to look at me. i asked her where in the world did they say its $1.80.
she said its like that, red tea blend is $1.80. i asked her what she wants me to do.
she told me, "go find 30cents because i have keyed in already". i gave her a T_T face before saying i will get it, meaning, going all the way back to get 30cents from my mom.
but i dont know why, i just stood there and looked up at the board.

"it clearly says $1.50 mah!!! under "specialty blends"" i repeated again in my horrible chinese.
now there were 3 teenage girls next to me, and they had sianzxz faces.
i also dont know why, i started looking at them. then i looked at the bubble tea woman.
she was staring at me. i asked her "now what".
she gave me a "you are so annoying, the bubble tea costs $1.80 period" look.
i asked her if she could tell me why at least, so that next time i wont buy such weird concoctions anymore.
she just stared. i stared back, looking at her eyelined (is there such a word?) eyes. i was damn tempted to have a staring contest with her. i mean, this is what i have been practicing for, im living for this day!!!

but, the sianzxz faced girls started crowding around me, and their faces were more sianzxz than ever. so i just took my bubble tea and left. didnt bother telling the bubble tea woman if im returning with the 30cents - allowed her to be worried that she has to fork out that 30cents from her pocket. muahahahaha. ok im mean like that.

anyway, i returned with the 30cents, plus my mom because i still see no head nor tail, and a kaypoh sister. hehe...

THEN GOSH, when the woman saw me with them, she totally gave me a "oh crap you" look. !!!!!!! then she started explaining to my mom why it costed $1.80 (because red tea has one more ingredient... V_V) and that i invented the drink and so, its not on the board. WTH?!?!?!

i really wish i can invent better things instead of bubble tea flavours which costs me rather than bring me more money.

on a side note, i did terrible for english. :,(
