youth day was spent in mostly in town with melissa, zhihui and lydia. melissa woke up late, not surprisingly, but managed to catch us for lunch. the service at swenson's sucked. no matter how many waiters//managers we called to take our order, they just said "hold on, hold on" before rushing off to take the orders of the businessmen or sit the other families down. we waited for about half an hour before managing to get the attention of a waitress. even then, the food took so long that melissa arrived though she was very late. haha. food was good and left us full.

then we went to cathay to watch Duplicity. melissa had to go, so she didnt join us. oh throughout the whole lunch, no prizes for guessing which boy she kept talking about. anyway, throughout the show, it was a BIG questionmark for zhihui and me. only about three quarters of the show, i asked zhihui if it was past-present, past-present... and she said yes. (she had lydia's explanation, the only one who understood among us) and i was like !(@$@*% i had thought it was just past all along! anyway throughout the whole show zhihui and i kept staring at each other, espescially at makingout parts because, we. have. no. clue. what. was. going. on.
and we would start laughing silently because, the whole show was like a big jigsaw puzzle without instructions.
anyway, the ending sucked. it was so abrupt, and zhihui and i were like O_O that's it?!?!
lydia knew the whole plot and saved her breathe explaining it to me. i still have no idea why they rehearse the pick up lines. WHY WHY WHY??? can anyone who have watched it answer my question. this is too puzzling.

ok after the show, we went iluma for zhihui's teadot and cheeky chocolate. i ate yoghurt and the stall had nice pop coloured chairs and tables. they also had cool lamps which i decided i want them in my future house. :D then after walking a round at the ground floor, we went home. blah. end of holiday. hello school. no fun.

last night, i had a dream. it involved tania and yuebin and i. i cant remember where we were going, but we were at some alley with lots of shops on the ground floor. yuebin and tania were in front, and i was behind because i was feeling ill. then i felt thirsty and went into 7-11 to get a drink. suddenly, tania rushed past 7-11 and i immediately came out because she seemed like in a bad mood. outside, she scolded me for "skiving" and buying drinks for only myself. and i told her i was just buying some drink because i was feeling ill but she refused to take any of it. and she was being very angry, and stomped off towards yuebin, who was right at the end of the alley, being indifferent as usual. and i think i woke up. :S
