this morning started out with me making egg and tuna sandwiches, boarding the bus with a heavy crumpler, my sandwiches and a skateboard in tow. i felt pretty embarrassed because i was having such a hard time juggling all the stuff i was carrying.
in the bus, i was trying to take my wallet from my bag, so i rested my skateboard on the side but it slid off. and i rushed to grab it before it rolled any further. then i put down my big plastic bag with the box of sandwiches and held on the skateboard while trying to find my card. but the skateboard is so long grrrr and it kept hitting the sides of the bus. when i finally found my card, it couldnt scan! and the bus was not even moving because the bus driver was way too nice and he was waiting for me to sit before he moved. and i felt so bad for making the rest of the people in the bus wait :S
when i passed tania's house, she was NOT THERE as she said she would be. and she was uncontactable!!! so i alighted at the next stop and walked to her house. and i didnt know what to do so i sought advice from yuebin. in the end i just appeared at the gate of her house and her mom came to the door and said she was still sleeping T_T
but she woke up almost immediately and rushed here and there and made me read readers digest while she brushed her teeth. V_V
at west coast park, we practiced skateboarding though none can beat tania-the-pro. she can do these 180deg spins and she actually was practicing on doing a complete spin and jumps. ambitious much? it was really fun skateboarding after a drought of, 5 years. tania is really excited to go to skatepark
now i have so many bruises around my ankles. :/
the picnic was lovely, we had quite enough food. yuebin made delicious "picnic surprise" potato and cucumber and egg wrapped in pito bread. they were simply tasty. tania baked her signature brownies and they were yummy as usual. im running out of adjectives for food. we played a little truth or dare jenga but we discovered this whole hoard of ants on the mat and panic and shrieked that we stopped everything.
we also played with water bombs. i got soaked by yuebin and tania, and maybe partly myself. yuebin threw this waterbomb straight at me and before i could react, it hit me and i drop my own waterbomb on myself. then i was thinking who to throw the last one at when tania hit me from my back. rahhhh (rah ah ah ah, roma romama, gaga ooh la la..). all of us were singing that part over and over again. it was like a guilty pleasure.
after that we went back to yuebin's house and it was pretty late already. petrina bought us all gifts from america. they are so cute~~ espescially the lego bricks. thanks!! ^_^
currently watching mackerel run. the first part of ep1 is already so promising~~
