how i spent my countdown. This post is plain ironic, if youre following.

edit/ ok i should elaborate how i spend my nye//ny since im in better spirits now.

watching the fireworks was AMAZING. the fireworks lasted for a good 8 minutes and they just burst in their brilliant colors directly above us. it was so surreal. at first there were police guards shouting not to go on the road but in the end every one rushed on it! the later ones even set up mats on it. we were among the first few when the road was open so we climbed the railings and waited for the fireworks. it didnt disappoint gosh it was great.

after that we got out of the raffles place area and the whole journey took like an hour. then we lingered away// waited another hour along bt timah because all the bars were closed & we were invited to a mutual friend's house. at the house, it was awkward. played awkward games and some of the guys were drinking like mad, some show of machoness or what idek. in the end stayed till 7am when buses are up again and went home, dead tired.

after that i had a family wedding lunch and dinner and to cut the story short, i think weddings are so cool hahah and for the first time i got asked "so when are you planning to get married?"
