this week just flew by, just like the past few weeks/ months. my crappy timetable begins with mondays and tuesdays being relatively free days (i have a lesson at 4pm -_-) and when wednesday comes, boom! wed, thurs and fris are packed like mad, from 9am to 6pm. it's a chore dragging myself out of bed, so thank goodness for awesome blockmates who would knock on my door till i get up. at least thats what happened like week. the previous weeks i woke up exactly when my sectional started. no good no good.
sectionals for business have been crazy. i didnt think they were so competitive until just yesterday, when i first got a taste of what competition and wayang people in business school were like. So being a really unlucky me, i got called to answer the teacher's questions in 2 different sectionals. and the questions they called were, surprise surprise, questions i didnt do because i didnt know how// wasnt in charge of that question (group work you see..).
so i answered wrongly. and these 10 hands shot up immediately, and one by one they started correcting me with that annoying tinge of proper english. not that im criticizing proper english (in fact, i encourage it), but haiyo why so wayang sia - false accents and all -_-.
"Coke and pepsi are not substitutes, as Esther has mentioned. Rather, i would like to think of them as rivals. A better and more appropriate example of a subtitute would be coke and let's say... fruit juice."
Ok whatever.
so my class participation marks continue to plummet boohoohoo.
there was handball training last night at 1140pm. sometimes, living in KR feels like a weird dream.
